Cometepool manufactures spa, jacuzzi and Olympic pool equipment in-house on its ISO 9001 certified production line in Bornova, Izmir. Spa, jacuzzi and Olympic pool equipment is not a single product but a full family covering the massage, water-effect and competition hardware of a wet area. Cometepool fabricates the stainless items of that family in house at its ISO 9001 certified plant in Bornova, Izmir, in AISI 304 and AISI 316 stainless steel. Most stainless groups in the catalogue are listed in both grades; the VitalityPool system is AISI 316 only and lane separators are made of plastic. The grade is fixed by the project specification. Sheet, tube and profile are cut, formed, welded and finished on the same line, and a matt or polished surface can be specified across the entire waterfall and massage range.
On the spa and jacuzzi side the VitalityPool bed and bench massage system sits at the centre of the range. It is built to the dimensions of each pool, entirely in AISI 316 stainless steel, and typically runs at 38 °C. For shoulder massage, cobra waterfalls are produced in six sizes from a 350×350 mm mini unit up to 900×600 mm, together with slim variants; the water inlet is Ø 50 mm on the mini and Ø 63 mm on the rest. Lux waterfalls are made in 1,000×400, 1,000×500 and 1,000×600 mm, calling for 12, 20 and 30 m³/h pumps respectively. Eco (swan), standard, wall-mounted and in-wall models follow, alongside flat, dolphin and S-type custom designs. For a weeping-wall effect, water curtains are listed in six widths from 0.30 m to 3.00 m, with the length adjustable to the project.
Air equipment completes the massage package. The air bed system comes as a full or half installation, requiring a 2.2 and a 1.1 blower respectively. Air floor systems are made as Ø 345 mm round, 300×300, 500×500 and 750×750 mm square and 520×170 mm rectangular units, driven by a 1.1 kW blower. Jacuzzi air blowing nozzles and 1 1/2" air regulation nozzles are supplied as complementary items. Wall massage nozzles come as a short type (130×120×85 mm) and a long type (410×100×165 mm), both with a 2" connection at 20 m³/h, in the same stainless grades. Pump, light and blower functions are switched from an electronic control button with 220 V AC input and IPX5 protection, running continuously or on a 7-minute timer.
The same discipline is applied to competition hardware. Fixed and adjustable starting platforms are built at 400 mm and 700 mm height, on a stainless sheet and tube body with a non-slip polyester top. Lane separators are offered in Seoul and Rome models at 25 m and 50 m, and separator storage trolleys at 1,200 mm and 1,800 mm. Backstroke turn indicator and false start signal poles are made from Ø 43 mm stainless tube for 21 m pools and Ø 48 mm for 25 m pools, supplied complete with rope, flags/balls and poles. Turning panels come in L = 2 m and L = 2.50 m with twin and quadruple panel supports; anchors for poles and panels are a separate item. The wheeled referee chair is built from Ø 43 mm stainless tube with a plastic seat. Can spa and jacuzzi equipment such as cobra waterfalls and water curtains be made to custom dimensions?+

Should I specify AISI 304 or AISI 316?+
Almost every stainless spa, jacuzzi and Olympic item in our catalogue is listed in both AISI 304 and AISI 316 — waterfalls, air floor systems, massage nozzles, starting platforms and turning panels all come in both. The VitalityPool bed and bench system is AISI 316 only, and the lane separators (KS001–KS006) are a plastic product with no stainless grade; most of the Olympic accessories are listed in AISI 304 only. The right grade is set by your specification and water conditions, and we can quote both at tender stage.
How do I take dimensions for waterfall and massage equipment?+
For standard models you simply pick a size from the catalogue: cobra waterfalls from 350×350 mm to 900×600 mm, lux waterfalls at 1,000×400/500/600 mm, wall type at 137×300 and 137×500 mm. For custom work we need the pool wall section, the water level and the level at which the feed pipe arrives. The most reliable route is to send the pool plan and section drawing — VitalityPool units and water curtains are dimensioned per project in any case.
Can this equipment be retrofitted to an existing pool?+
Items such as waterfalls, massage nozzles and air floor systems need a pipework connection — cobra waterfalls use Ø 50 or Ø 63 mm and wall massage nozzles a 2" connection, and the feed line has to reach the pool. Retrofits are therefore normally done with the pool drained, as part of a refurbishment. On the Olympic side, starting platforms, indicator poles and turning panels sit on anchors; if the existing pool has none, work on the deck concrete is required.
Do you select the pump and blower?+
The catalogue states the flow or blower rating each item needs: lux waterfalls 12, 20 and 30 m³/h, wall massage nozzles 20 m³/h, the full air bed system a 2.2 blower and the half system a 1.1 blower, air floor systems a 1.1 kW blower. You can size the plant room from those figures — and if several items share one line, let us review the combined flow with you.
Matt or polished — and how is it maintained?+
The whole waterfall and massage range can be produced with a matt or a polished finish. As the catalogue notes, polished surfaces need frequent cleaning with suitable products to keep their appearance; matt hides marks and fingerprints better, which is why busy facilities usually choose it. In both cases, avoid chloride-based or abrasive cleaners.
Do you manufacture to a specific project design?+
Yes — custom fabrication is the basis of this family. The VitalityPool bed and bench system is built to the dimensions of your pool, water curtain lengths are adjusted to the project, and the custom waterfall range already includes flat, dolphin and S-type designs. For anything outside the standard sizes, send us the drawing and our technical team will assess manufacturability and come back to you.
Who is responsible for installation?+
Cometepool works as the manufacturer; site installation is normally carried out by the pool builder or the mechanical contractor. Products ship ready to install — bolts and coach screws are included with cobra and lux waterfalls, for instance. Anchors for starting platforms, indicator poles and turning panels, however, are a separate item and must be specified with the order.
